What the district notes
- The calendar is a 180-day student calendar.
- Every Friday, students leave two hours early so teachers can collaborate and plan. On half days (Nov. 20 and the last day) dismissal is earlier still: about 12:15 p.m. at elementary schools and between 10:43 and 11:03 a.m. at middle and high schools.
- Kindergarten and preschool (Early Learning Center) start Monday, Aug. 31, after grades 1-12 start Aug. 26. Meadowbrook School K-12 starts Aug. 26.
- On the first day only, middle school grades 7 and 8 start three hours late; grade 6 starts on time.
- Preschool and the Transition Learning Center (TLC) end Wednesday, June 9. Mount Si High School graduation is Thursday, June 10, a half day for all students.
- School buildings open to the public Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2026, and the last day they are open is Thursday, June 17, 2027.
