What the district notes
- Pelham's detail calendar covers kindergarten through grade 12, but grades K-6 and grades 7-12 end the year differently. Grades K-6 are the four elementary schools (K-5) and grade 6 at Pelham Middle School.
- Grade 6 follows the middle school on conference days: grade 6 has school on Nov. 6 (K-5 conferences), but is dismissed at noon on Dec. 3 and has no school on Dec. 4.
- Grading dates: the K-5 trimesters end Wednesday, Dec. 9, Wednesday, March 31, and Friday, June 25. Grade 6 follows the middle school's marking periods, which end Friday, Nov. 6, Monday, Jan. 25, Friday, April 9, and Monday, June 14.
- Two late starts for staff training: on Friday, Jan. 15, and Friday, April 9, all schools open two hours late, at 10:15 a.m.
- The district's single-page calendar says the year allows for five snow days before vacation days would have to be taken back.
- The district also posts a single-page calendar adopted in March and revised in July 2026. It shows June 25 as the last day of school and June 23 to 25 as half days for the elementary schools unless they are needed as snow days. This page follows the newer detail calendar and its June footnote.
- School days run on a six-day cycle; the calendar prints each school day's cycle day number in the corner of its box.
How we checked the grades K-6 dates
We read every date off the district's own calendar twice: once from the PDF's text and once from the image, cell by cell against its legend. Then we checked every day off, early release, conference date, trimester end and grades 3-5 test date against the district calendar page and the single-page school calendar. The other dates rest on the district's calendar alone.
Every weekday on this page matches its date. If the district changes its calendar, its page is the final word.

What the district notes
- Pelham's detail calendar covers kindergarten through grade 12, but grades K-6 and grades 7-12 end the year differently. Grades 7-12 are Pelham Middle School (grades 7 and 8) and Pelham Memorial High School; grade 6 follows the K-6 end of year, with a last day of June 22 or later.
- June 14 is the last day of classes. From June 15 to June 24 grades 7-12 have Regents and final exams with no regular classes (June 18 is closed for Juneteenth), and Friday, June 25, is a Regents rating day with no classes for any students. Check your school's exam schedule.
- Pelham Memorial High School graduation is Thursday, June 17, at 5 p.m. at Franklin Field. The grade 8 moving-up ceremony is Monday, June 21, at 4 p.m. at Franklin Field.
- On the first day, Tuesday, Sept. 8, middle and high school students start at staggered times: grade 9 at 8:15 a.m., grades 7 and 10 at 9:02 a.m., grades 8 and 11 at 9:46 a.m., and grade 12 at 10:30 a.m.
- High school students have no regular classes Jan. 26 to 29 during Regents and midterm exams. Middle school classes meet as usual.
- Two late starts for staff training: on Friday, Jan. 15, and Friday, April 9, all schools open two hours late, at 10:15 a.m.
- The calendar's snow day rules for June cover grades K-6 only. For grades 7-12 it names only the May 27 and 28 compensatory days.
- The district's single-page calendar says the year allows for five snow days before vacation days would have to be taken back.
- The district also posts a single-page calendar adopted in March and revised in July 2026, which lists graduation on June 19. This page follows the newer detail calendar and the district's digital calendar, which both give June 17.
- School days run on a six-day cycle; the calendar prints each school day's cycle day number in the corner of its box.
How we checked the grades 7-12 dates
We read every date off the district's own calendar twice: once from the PDF's text and once from the image, cell by cell against its legend. Then we checked every day off for all students, early release, conference date, marking period end, the last day of classes and the June exam days against the district calendar page and the single-page school calendar. The other dates rest on the district's calendar alone.
Every weekday on this page matches its date. If the district changes its calendar, its page is the final word.
