What the district notes
- School starts in steps: grades 6 and 9 on Monday, Aug. 30; grades 1-5, 7-8 and 10-12 on Tuesday, Aug. 31; kindergarten on Wednesday, Sept. 1, when all grades attend. Early childhood programs start Tuesday, Sept. 7.
- Non-student days are staff days for curriculum work, professional learning, assessment reporting, conferences and communication with parents. There is no school for students.
- Students have a five-day weekend in October: a non-student day Wednesday, Oct. 20, then the Education Minnesota Conference break Oct. 21-22.
