Makeup days
The calendar names no makeup days. If school is canceled for weather, students may have up to four remote learning days, and days may be added at the end of the second semester as needed. If school closes for weather, the district announces how the day is made up.
Also worth knowing
- School is open on some federal holidays: Columbus Day (Monday, Oct. 12) and Veterans Day (Wednesday, Nov. 11). Banks, post offices and many offices close; school does not.
- The calendar lists no testing dates.
- A remote school day: Thursday, Oct. 29. It counts as a school day, but students learn at home. Plan for a child at home.
- After the last day, the calendar still shows Memorial Day (May 31). Students are already out.

What the district notes
- Thursday, Oct. 29 is a remote learning day for students and a district-wide parent-teacher conference day, with in-person options into the evening. Each school plans one more evening of conferences. Friday, Oct. 30 is a no-school day, so students have a four-day break from school buildings.
- If school is canceled for bad weather, students may have up to four remote learning days, and makeup days may be added at the end of the second semester, which would move the last day.
- Seniors' last day is Thursday, May 20, and graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2027 are May 21 and 22.
- The last day, Thursday, May 27, is an early out day.
