Makeup days
The district calendar names no makeup days. It says school holidays may change to make up for unexpected school closures. If school closes for weather, the district announces how the day is made up.

- School is open on a federal holiday: Veterans Day (Thursday, Nov. 11). Banks, post offices and many offices close; school does not.
- The district calendar prints no testing dates.
- Remote school days: Friday, Sept. 17 and Friday, March 17. It counts as a school day, but students learn at home. Plan for a child at home.
- After the last day, the calendar still shows Postplanning days for teachers (May 22), Memorial Day (May 29) and Juneteenth (June 19). Students are already out.

What the district notes
- Sept. 17 and March 17 are asynchronous learning days: students work from home while parent-teacher conferences take place, and both count as school days in the printed semester totals.
- Report cards go home Oct. 8, Jan. 14, March 16 and May 19. Interim reports go home Sept. 10, Nov. 19, Feb. 15 and April 26.
- Class of 2028 graduation is Friday, May 19, the last day of school.
- The district says school holidays are subject to change to make up for unexpected or unplanned school closures.
