What the district notes
- The approved calendar has 179 instructional days for students: 88 in the first semester and 91 in the second.
- Every statewide election day is a remote learning day for students unless the calendar says otherwise. For 2026-27 that is Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3.
- Fall break and the February break each run Monday to Wednesday, followed by two teacher workdays, so students are off the full week of Sept. 21 and the full week of Feb. 15.
