Every stretch of three or more days with no school, counting weekends. A half day next to a weekend adds half a day.

What the district notes
- All five severe weather makeup days are early release days, including the last day of school. The calendar does not say how a makeup day changes the schedule; the district announces that if it is needed.
- Semester exams come before winter break.
- Oct. 4 to 8 and Feb. 7 to 11 are FTE survey weeks, when Florida counts enrolled students.
- The calendar prints no early release dismissal time. Check your school's early release schedule.
