On an iPhone

In Outlook

Open the downloaded file, or in Outlook on the web go to Add calendar, then Upload from file.

These files are a copy of the calendar today. If the district changes a date, download the file again.

Calendar notes: what to plan around

Long weekends and breaks

Every stretch of three or more days with no school, counting weekends. A half day next to a weekend adds half a day.

• 3-day weekend: Saturday, Sept. 5 to Monday, Sept. 7. Labor Day. Back Tuesday, Sept. 8.
• 2.5-day weekend: Saturday, Oct. 24 to Sunday, Oct. 25. A regular weekend. Monday, Oct. 26, an early release day.
• 2.5-day weekend: Friday, Oct. 30 at early dismissal to Sunday, Nov. 1. Minimum day (teacher-family conferences). Back Monday, Nov. 2.
• 9 days off in a row: Saturday, Nov. 21 to Sunday, Nov. 29. Thanksgiving break. Back Monday, Nov. 30.
• 16 days off in a row: Saturday, Dec. 19 to Sunday, Jan. 3. Winter break. Back Monday, Jan. 4.
• 3-day weekend: Saturday, Jan. 16 to Monday, Jan. 18. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Back Tuesday, Jan. 19.
• 9 days off in a row: Saturday, Feb. 13 to Sunday, Feb. 21. Presidents' week. Back Monday, Feb. 22.
• 2.5-day weekend: Saturday, March 6 to Sunday, March 7. A regular weekend. Monday, March 8, an early release day.
• 2.5-day weekend: Friday, March 12 at early dismissal to Sunday, March 14. Minimum day (teacher-family conferences). Back Monday, March 15.
• 9 days off in a row: Saturday, March 27 to Sunday, April 4. Spring break. Back Monday, April 5.

Four early releases on a Friday or Monday make a 2.5-day weekend.

Weeks with fewer than five school days

Four weeks have fewer than five school days, and five weeks have none at all.

Makeup days

The district calendar prints no makeup days. If school closes for weather, the district announces how the day is made up.

Also worth knowing

• School is open on a federal holiday: Columbus Day (Monday, Oct. 12). Banks, post offices and many offices close; school does not.
• The district calendar prints no testing dates.
• After the last day, the calendar still shows Memorial Day (May 31). Students are already out.

First and last day of school

The first day of school is Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2026. The last day is Friday, May 28, 2027, with early dismissal.

Grading periods

The calendar prints only the end of each reporting period.

What the district notes

• The calendar counts 180 student days: 14 in August, 21 in September, 22 in October, 15 in November, 14 in December, 19 in January, 15 in February, 20 in March, 20 in April and 20 in May, by its weekly counts.

How we checked these dates

We read every date off the district's own calendar twice: once from the PDF's text and once from the image, cell by cell against its legend. Then we checked each one against the district's Student Calendar page and the district's 2026-27 teacher work year calendar.

Every weekday on this page matches its date. If the district changes its calendar, its page is the final word.
