- The calendar counts 180 student days: 14 in August, 20 in September, 21 in October, 15 in November, 13 in December, 18 in January, 15 in February, 23 in March, 17 in April, 20 in May and 4 in June.
- The calendar lists two sets of conference minimum days: TK-8 conference days in November and March, and separate Ralston Middle School conference days on Oct. 20, 22 and 23. It does not say which set Ralston follows in November and March, so Ralston families should check with the school.
- Students return from winter break on Tuesday, Jan. 5. Monday, Jan. 4 is a professional development day with no students.

We read every date off the district's own calendar twice: once from the PDF's text and once from the image, cell by cell against its legend. Then we checked the first and last day, Veterans Day, the four breaks, Memorial Day and the TK-8 conference minimum days against the district's calendar page and Central Elementary's calendar feed. The other dates rest on the district's calendar alone.
Every weekday on this page matches its date. If the district changes its calendar, its page is the final word.
